Rev Theory are recording their third album in Los Angeles with producer Terry Date (Soundgarden, Deftones). An early 2011 release is expected with a supporting tour to kick off late this year.

This year’s Rockfest will take place on May 15th at Liberty Memorial in Kansas City, MO. Tickets will go on sale on March 17th and start at just $35. The lineup is as follows:

Rev Theory are in the middle of writing for their third studio album which included a recent session with Godhead vocalist Jason Miller.

Throwing Gravity, formerly The Rust, have signed with Lava Records for the release of their new album. Recording is currently underway with Jon King, who produced their 2007 album ‘The Anticipation‘, and Josh Abraham (Velvet Revolver, Rev Theory) co-producing the effort which is due in mid-2010.

Theory of a Deadman continue to add dates to their upcoming headlining tour with Halestorm, Adelitas Way and label-mates Taking Dawn. Current schedule includes:

Theory of a Deadman have tacked on new dates for their upcoming headlining tour which also includes Halestorm, Adelitas Way and label-mates Taking Dawn. Kicking off on January 18th the tour is currently set to hit fourteen cities before coming to an end on February 10th.
