Pearl Jam will resume touring in support of last year’s ‘Backspacer‘ in May. The new dates begin with a performance at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival on May 1st and will wrap up on May 20th and 21st at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Pearl Jam front-man Eddie Vedder has been sued for altering the lyrics of the track “Hard Sun”. The track, written by Gordon Peterson, was featured on the ‘Into the Wild‘ soundtrack. Daughtry’s ‘Leave This Town‘ falls six slots to No. 68 on this week’s Billboard Top 200 Chart with 17,000 copies sold. The album is pushing Platinum status with 784,000 in total sales.
