Black Country are currently in the studio with Kevin Shirley (Slivertide, Black Crowes) recording their debut album which is due out in late 2010 / early 2011. The new group is made up of Led Zeppelin drummer Jason Bonham, bassist Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple), keyboardist Derek Sherinian (Dream Theater) and vocalist Joe Bonamassa.

Soulfly have tentatively titled their upcoming new album ‘Omen‘ which is expected sometime in early 2010.

The band are also recording a cover of Led Zeppelin’s “Four Sticks” as a future b-side or bonus track.
