Following the “hiatus” of vocalist A.J. Cavalier and drummer Tom Schofield announced earlier this week, SOiL have announced that Jordan Lee will join the band as lead vocalist and Mike Tignino as the drummer to fill in so that the band can perform their currently scheduled shows. Ill Nino have signed a new record deal with Victory Records. The band is set to begin recording the follow-up to 2008’s ‘Enigma‘ in April with a late summer release expected.

Ill Nino will begin pre-production on a new album this month. In an interview with Noisecreep, drummer Dave Chavarri revealed the group will wrap up pre-production in April and are close to closing a new U.S. record deal.

Ill Nino announced that they have parted ways with Cement Shoes and have begun shopping for a new record label. The band released their latest album ‘Enigma‘ in 2008 after several delays via Cement Shoes.
