The Foo Fighters will begin work on a new album with producer Butch Vig (Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana) in September. No word on a possible release date.

The Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins will take his side-project, Taylor Hawkins & The Coattail Riders, on tour next month. The group will release their new album ‘Red Light Fever‘ on April 20th.
