12 Stones have announced summer tour dates that are completely different than the ones that Wind-Up had sent us, which seems to indicate that they intentionally misled us. A lot of people have faith in TuneLab to provide accurate information, and we take pride in that by clearly indicating if we are posting something “rumored” or not exactly official.  In the case of the earlier dates, we were passed the information from the label as official dates, and thus posted them as such.  We apologize to those who read the earlier news post, and can assure you that the particular person at Wind-Up who sent us the dates will not be trusted again, and I will personally make sure that the label knows how we feel about this particular f-up. KPNT’s Pointfest 27 will take place Saturday, August 14th at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in St Louis, MO. Tickets will be $29 and the lineup includes Avenged Sevenfold, Stone Sour, Puddle of Mudd, Hurt, Flyleaf, Sick Puppies, Cavo, 10 Years, Halestorm, American Bang, Violent Soho, Red Line Chemistry, Autovein, My Darkest Day, and New Medicine.

Apocalyptica’s new single “End of Me”, which features guest vocals from Gavin Rossdale, has been uploaded to the band’s MySpace player. Their new album ‘7th Symphony‘ drops on August 24th and includes guest appearances from Shinedown’s Brent Smith, Flyleaf’s Lacey Sturm and others.

10 Years have completed the recording process for their new record ‘Feeding the Wolves‘. A mid-summer release is expected.
