12 Stones announced today that the band has parted ways with Wind-Up Records after 9 years. The band stated “We felt it was time for a change. We have a vision for this band that we feel is best pursued elsewhere.”

Evanescence had announced back in March that they were in the studio working on their third album to be released this fall, but vocalist Amy Lee has provided an update that the band is taking an unscheduled break from the studio citing potential issues with the label, Wind-Up. Click ‘read more’ to read the full statement.

We Are the Fallen’s “Bury Me Alive” music video is now online and streaming here. The band features former Evanescence members Ben Moody, Rocky Gray and John LeCompt plus bassist Marty O’Brien and American Idol contestant Carly Smithson. Their debut album ‘Tear the World Down‘ is due out on May 11th.

Evanescence are planning a fall release for their third studio release. The album is currently being recorded with producer Steve Lillywhite (Counting Crows, Crossfade).

Evanescence drummer Will Hunt will be featured on the new Black Label Society album in addition to performing with the band when they hit the road later in the year.

Hunt is expected to remain active with Evanescence who recently entered the studio to begin work on their third studio album.

Evanescence are offering a previously unreleased track titled “Together Again” to those who donate a minimum of $5 to the United Nations Foundation’s relief efforts in Haiti. Information is available at this location.

Evanescence will enter the studio in February to begin work on the follow-up to 2006’s ‘The Open Door‘.

Godsmack have titled their new record ‘Saints & Sinners‘. Produced by Dave Fortman (Slipknot, Evanescence) the disc is due out in the spring.

We are the Fallen (ex-Evanescence) will ship their debut single “Bury Me Alive” to radio on March 1st and to digital outlets on February 2nd. The track can be streamed on MySpace.
