David Cook’s single “Light On” has been certified platinum by the RIAA. The song, which was co-written by Chris Cornell and producer Brian Howes, was the lead single from Cook’s self-titled debut album.

Ryan Star’s major label debut, ‘11:59‘, has been delayed and will now see a July 28th release.

Star is on tour with David Cook through July 4th, dates can be found here.

David Cook will be tonight’s featured guest on NBC’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
